ترقية MECOOL KM2 Android 12 لعام 2024!

After my post on July 4, 2024, Mecool released an update for the TV Box KM2 with firmware version C2.0.6_20210723 for Android 12. New features. I’m very happy. Thank you!

Updated my Mecool Km2 to Google 12 but box is showing black screen after rebooting just shows android tv and goes blank

Ok Android TV 12 has been rereleased, so now we can update.

ATV14 is still on it’s way and should still come this year.

Curious what it will be like.

A week ago my tv box (mecool km2) began to have failures with the applications, with the cable internet and I could never connect it to wifi, so I would like to reset it or upgrade the version if there is a new one.

Could you please tell me what are the steps to follow.

When will we update the TV Box KM2 to Android 11 or 12, firmware version C2.0.6_20210723?

As far as I understood from their facebook channel, the Android 12 update has been pulled because of problems, so now they are going straight to Android 14. It should release this year, but they are waiting on certification from Google to release the update.

No word on how long that is going to take.

Hi: will this be available for mecool KT1? As I understand it hardware is much the same but I have the KT1 for the terrestrial TV connectivity, could it be possible to roll this out for KT1?

Thanks for the update 👍🏼. Here everything is working fine. It’s recommended to do a factory reset so that everything works properly.

La actualización resuelve problemas que ya daba con el android tv 10 , si a alguien le dio problemas que lo ponga de fabrica e instale aplicaciones en limpio , gracias por esta actualización el tv box va perfecto .

A los que actualizaron y les está dando problemas la caja, desgraciadamente deben de darle reset y empezzar de cero y se arregla (al menos así la arreglé yo) luego de eso corre super bien.
